AAI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time 4-year B.E./B.tech in:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time 3-year diploma in:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- ITI Trade Apprentices: ITI NCVT certificate in relevant trade:
- Electrical
- Electronics Mechanic
- COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant)
Note: Qualifications must be from AICTE/GOI-recognized institutions.
Age Limit (as on 30th July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 26 years
- Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
Additional Eligibility
- Domicile: Only candidates who are domiciled in West Bengal are eligible.
- Passing Year: Degree/Diploma/ITI must have been completed in 2023 or later.
- Experience: Candidates with prior apprenticeship or over 1 year of job experience are not eligible.
Stipend Details – AAI Apprentice Salary 2025

The selection process is simple and merit-based:
- Shortlisting based on academic marks (Degree/Diploma/ITI).
- Interview & Document Verification (details sent to registered email).
- final Selection depends on interview performance and submission of valid Medical Fitness Certificate and other documents.
